The robotic system offered by MicroTech consists of 3 boards which can make a micromouse instantly.
The top one is the robotic controller board (MicroBoard) consists of almost everything needed for a micromouse. The chasis (BaseBoard) has 2 gearhead motors mounted onto it to provide movement, it also has a ball-transfer unit fiited at the rear to provide a smooth 360 degree rotation when the robot turns. The smaller board attached on the chasis is the IR controller board, which controls the 2 IR detectors at the front for obstacles detection. The distance for detection can be adjusted by turning the variable resistors. A more advanced motor controller is also available which able to control up to 2 stepper motors or 4 normal DC motors. The following RoboBoard and servo-like geared wheels are perfect for making a robot.
