This 8051 Single Board Computer and the Easy ISP Programmer consist everything (apart from the development software) you need to start writing programs for 8051 chips. Note: The demo version of Keil is limited to 2K code size, and all the experiments can be performed within the limits set by the demo software! The "actual" number of code bytes used is smaller than the number as reported by the compiler!

Standard kit includes assembled 51SBC-1, Easy ISP Programmer, sample programs CD, PC RS232 cable, battery cable, heatsink, USB power cable and 2x16 back-lit LCD module. Battery not included.

The 8051 SBC kit contains all the detailed information and sample Keil C program sources to conduct the following experiments:

1 How to light up LEDs and write to 7-Segment display. 2 How to control and write to a LCD display. 3 How to detect and decode IR codes from IR remote controllers. 4 How to communicate with PC through serial RS-232 port. 5 How to read and write to EEPROMs, 24C02 and 93C56. 6 How to make a 7-Segment clock. 7 How to make a LCD clock.

This simple 8051 Programmer uses a PC serial port for communication and draws power supply from USB cable, it is able to program the following Atmel chips:
